We partnered with Innovatech to develop a custom, AI-powered logistics platform from the ground up. The solution provides a centralized dashboard for managing drivers, optimizing routes in real-time, and offering customers live tracking of their packages. The platform was designed to be scalable, secure, and user-friendly for both dispatchers and drivers.

  • Lack of Visibility: Customers and dispatchers had no real-time visibility into driver locations or estimated delivery times.
  • Scalability Issues: The existing system could not handle the increasing volume of daily deliveries, leading to errors and delays.
  • High Operational Costs: Poorly optimized routes resulted in excessive fuel consumption and driver overtime.

Our Solution & Innovation

Our solution was a comprehensive, cloud-native platform built on a microservices architecture. Our key innovations included:

  • AI Route Optimization Engine: We developed a custom machine learning model that uses a genetic algorithm to calculate the most efficient routes. It considers dozens of variables, including traffic data, vehicle capacity, delivery time windows, and even historical delivery times for specific addresses.
  • Real-Time Tracking & Communication: We integrated GPS tracking via a lightweight driver mobile app and used WebSockets to provide live location updates to the central dashboard and a customer-facing tracking portal.
  • Dynamic Re-routing: The platform continuously monitors conditions and can automatically re-route drivers if a significant delay is detected, notifying both the dispatcher and the end customer.
  • Predictive ETAs: By analyzing historical data, our model provides highly accurate Estimated Times of Arrival (ETAs), which significantly improved customer satisfaction.
